Gold is a neighbourhood restaurant and late-night bar on Portobello Road in the beating heart of Notting Hill. It’s an area celebrated for its cultural diversity and artistic eclecticism. Gold is informal and honest, with a menu that focuses on generous, seasonal plates cooked in wood ovens and served to share. Set over four floors, Gold is all about laid-back dining and drinking, both indoor and out. We recommend reserving your table, but as a locally-focused restaurant, we always hold back tables for walk-ins.

We are focused on showcasing the very best produce, cooked and prepared with the least intervention. We aim to create dishes that find harmony between simplicity and deliciousness. We are led by seasonality, and by cooking with and over fire, where the processes of wood-roasting, charring and slow cooking ensure that the spirit of our menu remains relaxed and timeless.

DRINK

We have a contemporary list of low-intervention, organic, biodynamic and natural wines. Many of these are from recognisable appellations. Some are from lesser-known regions known for their high-quality production. And we carry a handful of the curious and unusual too. Our cocktail list focuses on seasonality with any fuss kept to a minimum.
